Arvind Kakru Heads Schneider Electric's Industrial Automation in Greater India
In a strategic move, Schneider Electric has appointed Arvind Kakru as the Vice President of Industrial Automation for the Greater India Zone. Kakru, boasting an impressive 28 years of industry experience, is set to spearhead Industrial Automation, Process Automation, and Controls & Automation businesses within the region.
With a robust background that includes notable roles at Rockwell Automation and GE, Kakru brings a wealth of expertise to his new position. Holding a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from NIT, Durgapur, Kakru's leadership will be pivotal in driving market share expansion and identifying fresh growth avenues.
Based in Gurgaon, Kakru will report directly to Deepak Sharma, the Zone President of Greater India. Sharma expressed confidence in Kakru's capabilities, foreseeing his contribution as instrumental in scaling Schneider Electric’s Industrial Automation business. He remarked, "Arvind’s inclusion to the Greater India Management team would help us explore new opportunities, expand our business, and foster innovation”.
